What’s the biggest combo for Saturday nights to spend at home?
Games and good food, of course!
But what if you can relax and have fun with your games, friends, co-workers and enjoy a banging meal without even lifting a finger?
Pause your game or your favorite series because AFK! is here.
AFK! is a fast food delivery that swears you won’t regret putting your fun on hold to dig into a sinfully delicious meal.
Crafted around the needs of gamers and work-from-home gluttons, AFK! brings a solid fast food experience with a tech-y vibe.
The project focused on creating a brand that would appeal to an heterogeneous audience, niching towards gamers, streamers, work-from-home employees regardless of gender or age.
For the branding, I decided to put the focus on the “keyboard” as a lait-motif behind the main logo and overall iconography.
The icons are neat and purposefully edgy to match the symbols one can find on keycaps and keyboards. For the colours, electric purple and neon green are declined towards lighter shades to match RGB lightings.
More than any other project I created, AFK! called for a custom app for online orders and real-time delivery tracking.
I created a simple app starting from the “app map” and the user flow, making sure the experience was fluid and clear from start to finish.
Once the user flow was ready, I started creating the lo-fi directly on Figma, before refining the design into wireframes. During the designing stage, I expanded the colour palette to cater readability and the overall experience.
